Estimator (Engineering)

Location: London

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

This is a great opportunity for an Estimator with experience in an engineering field, looking for a new position to join a team of ground investigation, remediation and contaminated land contractors. You'll be working on a variety of projects with the resources and support necessary to deliver work to the highest standard in a supportive environment.

The Estimator position requires work on environmental, contaminated land and site investigation projects. You will be assisting and identifying tender opportunities, managing tender processes, liaising with clients, estimating quantities, interpreting the scope of works required, reviewing contract documentation and pricing tenders.

To be considered for this Estimator role you should:

  • Have a degree in relevant construction subject (for example civil/geotechnical engineering, engineering geology or environmental science).
  • Be knowledgeable in building regulations and estimating.
  • Have previous estimating experience.
  • Hold a relevant CSCS qualification.
  • Have great communication skills.
  • Be commutable to London and have a full UK driving licence.
