Estimator - Sales Support Executive

About the Company

This is a unique opportunity to join a long-established business that takes pride in delivering highly bespoke solutions for their clients. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support Executive (Estimator) to support and streamline the sales process.

Working closely with the Director and Manager, you will play a pivotal role in producing accurate, costed proposals for commercial workshop and storage solutions. This role involves regular communication with suppliers, prospects, and clients, with the added opportunity to contribute to system improvements as the company continues to grow.

Key Details

• Salary £35,000 - £40,000 (Depending upon experience)
• Location: Guildford
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
• Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays
• On-site car parking
• Company pension

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret briefs from Directors following client visits or site surveys
• Create fully costed, bespoke proposals with precise designs and pricing
• Collaborate with the 3D Designer and assist in producing 2D AutoCAD drawings
• Read, amend, and generate technical drawings using AutoCAD
• Identify and solve design or measurement issues
• Validate information with internal teams and suppliers
• Source and negotiate pricing from suppliers, including volume discounts
• Seek clarification from Directors when needed
• Prepare and hand over final client-ready proposals, addressing follow-up queries

About You

You will ideally bring:

• Proven experience creating detailed, costed B2B proposals or tenders
• Solid understanding of B2B pricing and estimation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD
• Exceptional attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Strong time management, multitasking, and prioritisation skills
• Excellent communication skills and a professional phone manner
• A confident, proactive mindset with a solution-oriented approach
• A hands-on attitude and readiness to get involved in all aspects of the role
