We are currently looking for an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join a leading construction company based in the Suffolk area.
As the Estimator / Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for providing accurate cost estimations, commercial oversight, and supporting project execution for cleanroom fit-out projects.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Your duties as the Estimator / Quantity Surveyor will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Prepare detailed cost estimates for cleanroom installation projects across varying sizes and complexities.
2. Oversee project budgets from inception through to completion, ensuring cost control and value engineering.
3. Review technical drawings, specifications, and subcontractor quotations to assess project scope and costs.
4. Collaborate with design, operations, and procurement teams to align financial forecasts with delivery timelines.
Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Estimator / Quantity Surveyor, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
2. Proven industry experience in a quantity surveying or estimating role, ideally within fit-out, construction, or technical installation sectors.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Microsoft Excel and cost estimation software.
