Estimating and Purchasing

Established since 1966, NVM specialises in manufacturing and supplying a wide range of Door Components and related security products to the Industrial Door Shutter and Garage Door Market. Due to growing demand for our products an opportunity has become available to join our efficient Estimating team.

Duties & Responsibilities

Estimating

• Review tender documents & quotation requests.

• Identify required projects on application based platform.

• Maintain professional relationships and practice.

• Read building & Elevation plans to establish specifications.

• Prepare quotations for Building Contractors.

• Prepare quotations for End-User Clients.

• Calculate installation costings and times.

• Plan, carry out and present measured surveys on site.

• Prepare Tender Documents.

• Maintain & Adhere to all Health, Safety and Welfare Legislations.

• Project Management.

• Measuring, Estimating and Tender Processes.

• Prepare drawings using in-house programmes.

Purchasing

• Liaising with Suppliers to obtain prices and lead-times,

• Raising Purchase Orders.

• Progress Chasing Purchase Orders to ensure lead-times are adhered to.

• Completing Shortfalls and Coordinating with Sales Team regarding delivery dates.
