My client a leading specialist architectural glazing company are currently recruiting for an Estimating Administrator in their recently developed offices in Essex.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Estimating Manager
Responsible for assisting with tenders and providing support the Estimating team along with general administration duties.
Check and print tender documents as and when they are received - e.g. drawings (Highlight any discrepancies), B0Q and specifications.
Assist the Estimating Manager with processing and issuing sub-contractor and supplier enquiries.
Record all quotations received on to the Estimating / Quotes done system.
Electronically file all quotations and supply chain correspondence.
Check status of projects on Glenigan.
Maintain files of working documents as back-up for estimate figures.
The ideal candidate
Shall have secretarial and/or administrative experience preferably within the construction Environment.
Existing experience in the Construction Industry would be helpful but not essential.
Good written and verbal communication skills (computer literacy, Word, Excel).
Salary dependent upon experience.
