Exciting opportunities has arisen with West Suffolk Councils to become an Estates Surveyor! You will join our growing team based in combination of Bury St Edmunds and Mildenhall. You will join us on a Full Time, Permanent basis and will receive a competitive salary circa £25,000 -£40,000 per annum depending on experience, plus essential car user allowance and excellent pension scheme.

The Estates Surveyor role:
Property is at the core of many of the initiatives and as an Estates Surveyor you will play a vital role assisting with the management of the incredibly diverse and mainly commercial portfolio of over 400 operational and non-operational properties, that also includes shopping centres scheduled ancient monuments, and even a world class entertainment venue.
As our Estates Surveyor you will be producing and maintaining asset management plans, achieving lettings, undertaking landlord and tenant negotiations, disposals, acquisitions, valuations and assisting with projects to deliver the financial and operational objectives of the councils.
Our ideal Estates Surveyor:
We are seeking a part-qualified, recently qualified or Senior MRICS Estates Surveyor to join our busy team. You will ideally have some experience and a track record of delivering best value from actively managing a property portfolio and property asset based projects. Some public sector experience would be advantageous, but is not essential.
The positions are based in a combination of Bury St Edmunds and Mildenhall so access to transport is essential.
