An interim Estate Surveyor role for a well known Commercial Organisation based in Hampshire

I am currently working with a private sector organisation who are actively seeking an MRICS qualified Estates Surveyor to join their in-house property team. The role itself will be a 10 month interim position to start shortly based across the South Coast.
Your new role
Working closely with the head of department, you will be responsible for assisting and providing professional advice to ensure delivery of an effective and efficient Estate Management service across the large tenanted land and property portfolio. Here, you will undertake a number of key responsibilities with some of these including; the implementation of estate strategies to optimise income and minimise cost, risk and liability. Maximise and implement service charge and rents. Undertake lease renewals, rent reviews, lease re-gears, property transactions and the management of lease compliance. Other general property related tasks will also be expected such as day to day professional advice and the management of trainee Surveyors looking to become qualified.
The portfolio will see you involved in a varied estate of both land and property including industrial units, commercial businesses, retail units, multi-let offices, leisure facilities and rural land.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed within the role, you will hold significant experience within Commercial Estate Management including knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation and the ability to undertake a number of property related tasks such as Lease Renewals and Rent Reviews.
