If you are looking for a new challenge in Estate Management and an opportunity to enjoy the full spectrum of the role, then this could be well suited for you. Our client is an Owner Managed 19th century Mansion Block Development in the heart of Marylebone, West London comprising of c120 units.
They are now seeking an experienced Estate Management Professional to manage this demanding site. You will be responsible for managing the development and its employees, overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring that the site remains presentable, clean and compliant with all necessary legislation. In this role you will be leading a team of onsite staff in ensuring the smooth running of the development, you must be a team player with a hands-on approach to management.
As the building is owner managed, you will be working closely with the directors, with the opportunity to enjoy autonomy in the role and the chance to implement your own policies and procedures to streamline and increase efficient management. In addition, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all stakeholders and will lead on the delivery of excellent customer service to all residents and guests.
Duties will include ensuring that the quality of service at the development is maintained to the highest standard at all times, acting as a first point of contact for all residents, creating & managing service charge budgets, keeping all appropriate records & administration, supervising both planned and reactive maintenance, in addition to operational matters.
You must have the ability to work under pressure, multitask effectively and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. A customer focused approach is essential, alongside strong industry knowledge and experience.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and will have a good track record in managing Mansion Blocks. You must have an excellent knowledge of the Landlord and Tenant Act, RICS and ARMA guidelines, a good understanding of Health and Safety processes and experience in section 20 consultation and creating and managing service charge budgets.
