ERP Implementation Consultant, Professional Services Consultant, for a home-based position ideally in the Midlands, but anywhere from Sheffield to London to Manchester is fine. Nottingham is just a marker point. Salary to £42k + £4,800 car allowance.

They are looking for an experienced ERP Implementation Consultant; if you have worked with products like Sage 200, MS Dynamics NAV, SAP Business One, Pegasus Opera, WinMan, Protean, NetSuite, Epicor, Syspro, Infor M3, Intact, Agresso, Coda, PS Financials, Dynamics AX, Sage 500, or any mid-market ERP solution, that would be perfect, or something similar such as Pinewood Dealer Management software, or Property Management or Construction software like COINS.

This implementation role is focused on GreenTree ERP software, which is a functionally rich mid-market ERP solution. It sells especially well in the SME sector and covers CRM, finance, stock management, Ecommerce integration and full ERP modules. It is not industry vertical specific but provides capability across a wide range of market sectors.

GreenTree was developed in New Zealand and the company was bought by MYOB, a massive Australian software company with multiple products in the accounting and ERP software market place. You should check out Greentree ERP as a product on the MYOB site.

GreenTree was designed as a new generation of ERP product and from a user perspective it is much richer with amazing reporting and Dashboarding functions, plus the reporting is superb. So companies often buy it because it does the ERP bit well, but all the reporting is already available. Our client sells Greentree into the service management market, also called Field Service Management market which is for people in vans driving round fixing stuff, repairing and maintaining equipment. The product has excellent mobile functionality including timesheets and storing photos.

It sits on SQL Server and comes either as an on-premise solution or cloud based. The projects are sometimes as short as 20 days (sometimes up to 80 days) and on those projects one ERP Consultant will do everything, so you need good all-round ERP implementation experience and you need to be able to talk to the finance departments about their accounting problems and methods.

So you will have experience of Implementing ERP solutions with modules like warehousing, stock, distribution and CRM etc. And of course, some accounting knowledge so you will be able to understanding and discuss double entry book keeping, and know what a balance sheet and P&L are.

As a Greentree Implementation Consultant you will initially shadow one of the experienced ERP Consultants, there are 3 currently. Then you will start doing your own projects which will be implementations of 5 to 50 users. Once you are established you will do most of the projects yourself and you will have the autonomy to decide how things should be done. So quite often you will be talking to clients about the functionality and trying to help decide what business processes should change and what needs to be bespoked. The degree of freedom that the company gives to experienced consultants is unusual, and it is one of the reasons why people tend to stay here for a long time.

You will be home based travelling to client sites in the UK. Contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis Resourcing.
