ERP or Accounting Software Consultant for a thriving mid-market ERP consultancy based in Stockport, very close to Manchester. They grew 33% last year with the acquisition of another reseller in the south of England. They have successfully integrated those clients into their business and expect to grow another 10-20% this year. They offer progression and opportunity, and this is a lively, fun place to work. Salary to £50k plus car allowance.
They need an Implementation Consultant who can do the client consultations, gather requirements, identify gaps, configure and install the software, manage the projects and manage change, handle the data migration and write reports. You will also help the Pre-Sales Consultants with proposals and software demos and become a trusted advisor to your customers. It is important to be able to manage your client, in terms of requirements and business processes and expectations.
Every client thinks their business is unique and as an Implementation Consultant you need to help steer them into as much standard functionality as possible and reduce the amount of bespoke work. This means that you will need to help them see the benefits of changing the internal business process. Previous experience of this process is critical to the role.
So they are looking for someone with a track record of software implementation, who would be happy working with a young team of ERP Consultants on a range of modules including finance, manufacturing, distribution and warehousing and would be comfortable talking to the finance team and understanding the importance of SOP and POP within the business.
ERP or Accounting Software implementation experience is essential, and they want someone with a solid track record, good time management, plenty of motivation and enthusiasm, happy to travel to client sites nationwide (and abroad some of the time) and client and team focused.
Ideally you will be reasonably local to Stockport. But you could live further away and work from home, visiting the office once a week.
