Equity Research Associate/ Junior VP level , Oil and Gas coverage, Global Asset Manager

We are now working with a very successful, global asset management firm, who are looking to add an Equity Research Associate/ Junir VP to their Equity Research team.  The focus will be global listed oil and gas stocks.

In this role, you will work on:

- Acting as a full member of the Research team working on stock analysis and portfolio analysis, focused on Energy stocks

- Working closing with very experienced Fund Managers

- Carrying out detailed commercial , financial and business analysis of investments

- Preparing investment memorandum

- Financial modelling and analysis

- Monitoring the existing portfolio

- Making buy and sell recommendations

The fund takes a long only approach towards investing.

They are keen on meeting people who will have a background as follows:

- Equity Research analyst with a leading asset management firm

- Equity Research analyst with a sell side firm

- The role is probably suitable for someone with 4- 7 years experience

- Genuine interest in investing and financial markets

- Strong academic background

The successful candidate will have strong oil and gas sector knowledge.
