Equity Partner job in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire suitable for an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant with extensive accountancy experience gained within public practice.

Are you a Senior Manager or Partner looking for an equity opportunity within an established firm of accountants based in Leamington Spa?

We are working exclusively with a leading Leamington Spa based firm of accountants who are looking to recruit an Equity Partner into their firm.

This is an ideal opportunity for an accountant who is looking to progress to business owner via a Salaried Partner level. The Equity Partner job will involve looking after a full SME portfolio with more than £500k fee income from the outset with potential to grow further.

This is a varied and versatile accountancy role that incorporates strategic, technical and managerial duties. As the successful candidate you will be overseeing and leading the full provision of the firm’s services, working closely with the other Partners at the firm. Audit experience is desired but not essential and not necessarily a requirement of the role.

If you are a Senior Manager or Partner Designate with exceptional business acumen, communication and management skills together with a broad technical background then this role would be an ideal challenge.

The successful accountant will have at least 5 years’ post qualified experience gained within a public practice environment working with a varied portfolio of SME’s and High Net Worth Individuals. You will be capable of training and motivating a sizeable team to exceed client service expectations, as well as ensuring the profitability of the firm.

The main responsibilities for this Equity Partner job in Leamington Spa includes:

  • Reviewing work in progress, monitoring deadlines and budgets
  • Assessing the training and development needs of staff
  • Managing a team of fully qualified and part qualified accountants
  • Working closely with the other Partners to ensure the efficiency of the compliance department
  • Taking full responsibility for maintaining client relationships
  • Undertaking special advisory projects

The perfect accountant will be ACCA/ACA qualified with 10 years’ plus experience of working in a public practice accountancy firm. Our client is looking for someone with drive and enthusiasm who would like to business owner.
