Equities Trading Systems Engineer

A leading investment bank is hiring for an Equities Senior Systems Support Specialist to work within their Equity Electronic Trading plant. This role will sit on the trade floor alongside the production support team working to support applications, networks, and FIX messaging. Most of the role will involve projects such as building out new ultra-low latency systems, OS upgrades, hardware migrations etc. You will get good exposure and integration with various teams including development, infrastructure and products and service desk. As such the progression opportunities are fast moving and diverse.

Requirements:

·Equities

·Unix/Linux

·FIX messaging knowledge

·Preference: network and connectivity experience and ITRS Geneos  

·Bonus: Python, Bash, Perl, low latency monitoring tools (e.g. Corvil)
