Equine Quality Manager - South East England

De Lacy Executive's client is a highly respected and long established producer of brand leading equine feed products.

Due to past growth and future plans, an exciting opportunity has arisen for someone with an interest and knowledge of equine nutrition who is wanting to develop their career in an equine feed quality role.

The successful individual will manage all aspects of nutrition and feed formulation, quality, raw material supply and costing from harvested crop to end customer, including UFAS, FEMAS and NOPS quality schemes.

The company is developing new fibre feeds and is continually installing new and innovative processing equipment. The appointee will be involved in the development of these products and would be expected to manage all aspects of the process , including liaison with contract clients, ensuring that their expectations are met.

This is a very responsible position which will offer the right candidate significant career progression opportunities, including business development.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge and experience of equine nutrition
  • Experience of equine industry assurance schemes would be an advantage but is not essential.
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate drive and ambition
  • Strong team player
  • Previous sales experience could be advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence

A respected person from the equine world without the full skill range above may be considered as some training could be provided


The remuneration package will be commensurate with the importance of the role.
