Our client is a leading utilities company in the south. They are looking for a planning and environmental lawyer to join their legal team on a fixed term contract for ten months to cover a maternity leave.
Here you will provide advice, identify risks and implement solutions relating to environmental, regulatory and planning legal matters, thereby assisting the Company in acting in a responsible and sustainable way towards the environment and public health. Examples of work include environmental and public health impacts, planning applications and appeals, and regulatory challenges and enforcement. The work is technically challenging but highly rewarding.
You will be a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEX with post-qualification experience in environment, regulatory and/or planning issues. Excellent written and verbal communication are required as is the ability to work as part of a team, a proactive positive nature, and the ability to build relationships at all levels.
