A position has arisen for an Enhanced Bid Developer placed within a successful charity in the East Midlands. The role works closely with the Head of Business Development as well as the rest of the team to contribute directly to income growth. This is a permanent position offering £39,782 - £46,580 for the right candidate.
Your duties will include:

  • Contributing directly to income growth by developing compelling models, solutions and written responses to formal contract, grants / trusts and other business opportunities
  • Leading on high value (i.e. >£2m) / high risk and strategic opportunities, working with colleagues from across the charity to ensure compelling and commercially viable proposals
  • Undertaking writing/written work, developing financially astute (efficient, quality and fully considered(risk) models and setting high quality standards to increase the likelihood of award
  • Managing the whole application / bids process for the team, writing final submissions with contributions from colleagues, external partners and virtual task/finish teams
  • Following standardised processes for reviewing contract terms, risk assessments, and formulating financial models to achieve the best value outcomes for children
  • Leading on market intelligence, opportunity identification, pipeline of new work, horizon scanning and partnership working
  • Working with the Head of Business Development to develop new services in priority growth areas and support implementation and submission of successful bids and applicationsProviding oversight of all other submissions (
  • Leading on proposal strategy, bid/no bid and qualify out decisions, formulation of strategy (USPs, Win Themes, Partnerships, Differentials, Pricing) leading to successful award

    The successful candidate should have:

    • You must have experience of working in a similar position
    • Understanding and knowledge of the public sector/charity sector
