TimePlan Education are recruiting for an English teacher on behalf of a national, independent provider for education, residential care and a range of services for children and adults with additional learning needs. The English teacher is permanent post to start as soon as possible, depending on the successful candidates' availability. The needs of service users are complex, including severe emotional and behavioural difficulties and challenging behaviour.

This English teacher is to teach BTEC and GCSE maths for students aged 11-18. The school is based in Wakefield. It is a mixed gender school offering support for students with social emotional and behavioural challenges including Autism, ODD and ADHD. The school caters for approximately 40 students.

Role Summary:

  • English Teacher, permanent contract
  • Salary: £23,000-£31,000
  • QTS or equivalent to apply
  • SEN training or experience is highly desirable
