Secondary schools in the Trafford area are seeking English Teachers to start after Easter.
Your new company
Hays Education have recently registered an increase of English positions to start after Easter, for 1 and 2 term contracts. The Schools are spread across the Salford and Trafford areas, and have approached Hays Education to fill these vacancies as soon as possible.
Your new role
You will receive significant support throughout the term / 2 terms from the rest of the Education department, and also from non-teaching staff and the senior leadership team. You will be responsible for teaching English across KS3 and KS4, planning and preparing lessons, delivering lessons and then completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils work.
As this is a long term role lasting a full term, you will also be required to attend parents evenings and other school functions during this period of time.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing one of the English positions, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience teaching English through to KS4, as well as being able to start after Easter and continuing through until the end of the academic year where applicable.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid to scale throughout the duration of this assignment and will also develop your own teaching skills and experience, as well as having the potential to become a permanent member of staff in September in some schools. You will also be supported by your local Hays Consultant and you will join our Hays Refer a Friend Scheme where you could be entitled to receiving £250 in high street vouchers.
