Your new role
Your new role is a part-time position operating on a temporary basis covering a maternity leave from Easter 2018. The role is 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday) and you will be responsible for teaching English to KS4. As this is a long term job opportunity, you will be required to undertake all teaching duties including planning, delivery and assessment. In your new position, you will be supported by, not only a high achieving department but by a senior leadership team who have a key emphasis on creating a positive learning environment for both teachers and pupils. You will receive a competitive rate of pay to reflect the responsibilities of the role.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience teaching English to KS4 and must demonstrate adaptability and flexibility. You must also hold QTS or have completed your PGCE in FE. Within this role you must possess strong behaviour management skills and be eager to continue to add to the high standards that the department have come to expect whilst adding adding value to each individual student ensuring that they reach their full potential whilst at the school.
