English Teacher

JOB DESCRIPTION

English teacher for a good all through school in South East London. The school are looking for an English teacher who can work across Key Stages 3 and 4 to join their English Department ASAP on a full time basis. The school has a great English department and a very experienced Head of Department, and is very well resourced and has excellent facilities. The school is keen to meet teachers as soon as possible.

SCHOOL INFORMATION

The school has a curriculum that is built to offer breadth and balance to all their learners at every stage in their all through school. Whether that be addressing the early development of their youngest learners or the academic aspirations and qualifications of their Key Stage 4 students as they approach their public examinations. Their teaching is responsive to the new changes in the National Curriculum and embraces the high standards in knowledge and skills required to meet the needs of a Twenty-First Century education. They are innovative in their approach and integrate their responsibilities around delivering social, moral, spiritual and cultural, digital literacy and careers education into their programme of academic studies at all key stages. In addition to their academic routes, they offer a wide variety of enrichment lessons and activities.

REQUIREMENTS

Applications are welcome from teachers at any stage in their career including NQT's and both British trained English teachers and overseas trained English teachers will be considered for this position.
