English Teacher to start in April

A Secondary School located in Norfolk is looking for an English Teacher to start in April. The positions will be to last until the end of the summer term 2019 in the first instance, and the successful teacher will be required to teach English at Key Stage 3 and 4 of the Curriculum.

This is a mixed school, catering to a small student body of approximately 400 from the age of 11 to 16 years old. The school is host to excellent facilities, including extensive fields, drama studio, fitness suite, a high standard football pitch and swimming pool. Students thrive for excellence and success with the support of a dedicated staff team. A wide range of courses are on both inside the classroom and extracurricularly.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Planning and delivering lessons in accordance with the English Curriculum as KS3 and KS4;
  • Liaising and communicating with various staff teams and caregivers to ensure student success;
  • Continuous marking and reporting on student achievement;
  • Participation and attendance in various CPD and staff meetings.

To be considered for the role of English Teacher to start in April in Norfolk, all candidates must fulfil the following requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure;
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK;
  • Recognised teaching qualifications.
