ENGLISH TEACHER (RELOCATION TO ABU DHABI, UAE)
English Teacher required in Abu Dhabi, UAE, from August 2018
An IB international school in Abu Dhabi, UAE, are looking for an outstanding English Teacher to join their successful and well-established English department.
A popular International Baccalaureate curriculum international school, this institution caters for a vast range of nationalities, providing a first class education to the expatriate community.
The successful English Teacher will possess exemplary subject knowledge of the English curriculum with a proven track record of improving pupil attainment and experience teaching English from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 (IGCSE, AS Level and A Level / IB MYP and IBDP). Experience with the IB curriculum (MYP and IBDP) is advantageous but not essential.
English Teacher requirements:
- English Degree with QTS or PGCE Secondary English with QTS
- Degree and teacher training qualifications must have been obtained in a UK university
- Only applicants with experience teaching the British or IB curriculum will be considered
- Experience teaching across KS3 - KS5 and the ability to teach up to A Level or IBDP English
- A minimum of two years’ teaching experience (in the UK or an international British or IB curriculum school)
