English Teacher/NQT - Southend-on-Sea

A Message from the school;

“In the English Department, we aim to take the pupils on a voyage of discovery, not just through the great literary works from Chaucer to the present day but also to explore each pupil's own ideas and responses to texts of all kinds including fiction, non- fiction and multi-media. Our aim is to inspire pupils to be creative thinkers and to give fluent written and verbal responses to the ideas presented to them.

The department is staffed with well-qualified and talented teachers, at differing stages of their career, but all with the same passion and determination to make sure that the pupils enjoy their lessons and consequently make excellent progress.”
