To be successful, you will be a compassionate and modern English NQT and has the skills to raise expectations for all pupils. This vacancy is open to those who have clear teaching goals and evidence from the style and pace of their lessons that them are fully conversant with the current national curriculum. The Headteacher wants to recruit a teacher with an understanding of how pupils learn and respond to commands and suggestions; this will enable them to perform to the best of their ability within the classroom. You will have the ability to encourage efficient learning through teaching engaging lessons and always set high standards for your students to achieve.
About the English NQT Role
At this well-managed school, as an English NQT you will be teaching and working as a crucial part of the English faculty and you will be joining a genuinely caring department. A full-time TA will assist in the delivery of your lessons, giving you an extra pair of eyes and helping with lesson preparation. Using your subject knowledge and classroom practice, you will be expected to teach up to GCSE level. The SLT understand the need for great staff support and will assign a friendly experienced teacher to work with you as your mentor. Your duties will include functioning and engaging with the Head of Department's positive mental attitude of an ethos.
