The Role - Graduate Teaching Assistant

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be working from 8.30am - 4.00pm Monday to Friday. You will be responsible for assisting the teacher in raising attainment. The role will consist of a mixture of 1-1 support to help the students with reading and writing and helpping the class teacher by running intervention group sessions for a year 6 class. Previous work experience supporting a year 6 class would be preferred

A friendly small primary school in Hackney are looking to appoint an outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant to work in a year 6 class a full time and long-term basis. This Graduate Teaching Assistant role will be to start on the 16th April. The school are a two-form entry with excellent facilities, they also have an excellent SLT team who are very supportive.
