Engineering Technician Mechanical Bias

Hours: 4 day working week rotation.

Week 1 – Monday to Thursday - 2pm – 12am

Week 2 – Tuesday to Friday – 6am – 4pm

Week 3 – Monday to Thursday - 5am – 3pm

Week 4 – Tuesday to Friday – 6am – 4pm

Salary - £44,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.
• Responsible for trouble shooting and problem solving
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Build an effective working relationship with Engineers and Management Teams
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of machinery.
• Contribute to the installing and commissioning of new machinery
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For:

• ONC in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or similar role.
• Worked within a high-speed, manufacturing environment
• Good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics systems

Wakefield, Castleford, Barnsley, Leeds, Doncaster, Huddersfield, York, Harrogate
