Are you an experienced senior operations manager from an industrial, CHP plant or heavy manufacturing background looking for a one of the largest companies in their sector, offering a challenging and varied role?
This is a permanent position offering a senior level role in an interesting and ever developing engineering sector.
The site operates seven days a week, 24 hours a day. The site combines a CHP plant with a manufacturing site, which generate over £22 Million per year.
The role will focus on the management of all plant process, over 40 staff and a multi-million pound budget.
Therefore tasks include but are not limited to:
1.Managerial responsibility for all phases of plant operations including: operations, production, electricity generation, maintenance, quality control, health and safety and environment
2.Ensure the site Improves safety, maintains consistent production and control key costs
3.Ensure the development and continual improvement of all personnel; to include performance reviews, recruitment, disciplinary issues and absenteeism.
To apply you should have:
1.Academic and working experience within Manufacturing/ heavy Engineering environment or experience of managing a CHP plant (ideally degree educated)
2.Demonstrable experience of managing a large team (over 20) of staff (including managers), budgets and maintenance projects
3.Any knowledge of thermodynamics, steam generation or CHP preferable.
4.Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems
