Our client have several vacancies for our Engineering Apprenticeship / Training Programme at Intermediate and Advanced Levels which will all be based across their 2 centres of excellence manufacturing sites in Milton Keynes.
Our client offer the following pathways;
Trainee Manufacturing Technician (Intermediate & Advanced Levels Available)
This job requires hands on individuals who will be Production based working in Sub Assembly, Electrical Bay, Product Assembly Lines, Logistics, Service, Test and Development. The successful applicant will develop into a top-class practical Manufacturing, Service, Test or Development Technician with expert knowledge in Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic Assembly, linked to developing, building and servicing the Niftylift product range.
- Intermediate - Minimum of 2 GCSE's (or equivalent) including: Grade 3 (D) or above in Maths or English or Functional Skills Level 1.
- Advanced - Minimum of 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) including: Grade 4 (C) or above in Maths, English & Science or Functional Skills Level 2.
- *Candidates with Level 2 or Equivalent Engineering qualifications may be considered for one of our Advanced Programmes.
Trainee Technical Support Technician (Advanced Level Available)
This job requires hands on individuals who will develop their skills into a Technical Engineering role. They will be based within Production, Development, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Design, Customer Support / Service and Supply Chain / Purchasing. The successful applicant will develop into a top-class Engineer with a developed knowledge and understanding of all technical support elements of a business as well as a solid foundation in the Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic engineering disciplines employed within the Niftylift product range.
- Advanced - Minimum of 5 GCSE's (or equivalent): Grade 4 (C) or above in Maths, English & Science or Functional Skills Level 2.
All of our client’s Training Programmes will take 4 years to complete and will include an Apprenticeship at Level 2 or Level 3. Students will work towards achieving an NVQ and Diploma in Engineering.
For those people who wish to progress their career qualifications further and have the necessary drive, enthusiasm and ability there may be further potential opportunities following successful merit / distinction level completion / college approval (to progress) and at discretion of Niftylift Management.
