We are looking for a self-motivated and dedicated Administrator for a six month secondment in our Engineering department, who is seeking a challenging and rewarding role at the heart of our business at our Llantarnam Manufacturing Site. You will carry out all duties relating to the administration of our Engineering stores department, and the hours are Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00pm and some flexibility may be required.
Book Engineering stocks in/out on SAP
Undertake regular stock takes and adjust SAP as necessary
General stores work - tidying/organising of stock
Obtaining quotes for stock and raising orders through SAP SRM
Assist Finance with stock auditing
Respond to basic stores/general queries via telephone and email
Sign for stock and file delivery notes
Liaise with Engineering Stores Manager regarding minimum/maximum stock levels and update SAP as necessary
Support Stores Team projects
Any other duties commensurate with the role
Skills and Experience
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English grade C or above
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Builds relationships at all levels
- Experienced and confident user of computers including email, Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience of SAP would be an advantage
- Proactive and uses own initiative
- Detail orientated and extremely organised with ability to prioritise workloads
