Key "bridge" between public health and technology partners.
Circa £35,000 - £40,000
Who We Are:
Self-sufficient and now driven to be self-funding within a few years, we are a clinical informatics division that is hosted within the Oxfordshire Hospital Trusts. Our remit is to ensure that innovative technology is appropriately introduced to the benefit and support the public health services within the UK, as well as managing the collaboration between public health organisations and solutions providers. We further support the technology and analytics needed to support change proposals within the clinical field of health service provision.
As we make further and further strides towards significant service improvements, we are now pursuing more commercialised ventures, which will allow us to become fully self-funding within a few years.
As such, we now seek to appoint an Engagement Lead that will form a critical "bridge" between ourselves and the healthcare market - ensuring that opportunities are identified, secured and that the resultant solutions teams are working in synergy - so ensuring correct and timely delivery.
Your New Role:
As this "bridge", you will engage directly with a number of key decision makers and operational staff within both the NHS and those technology partners driven to deliver the solution. You will use your pragmatic yet inquisitive nature to identify future enhancements and opportunities that enact technology advances.
You will work with Project Managers to scope and define potential engagements, presenting your proposals to the informatics board for approval. Within both the technology market and the NHS you will work directly with all levels of staff, from CEO through to frontline stuff such as clinicians to secure clarity of need and definition of delivery.
What You'll Need To Succeed:
Fundamentally, you will need to demonstrate an enthusiasm and be adept at forging strong working relationships with all levels within the public sector. Your background and technical capabilities will ideally be within some aspect of public health, although this is not a pre-requisite.
You will have a flair for identifying an opportunity and the focus to investigate and ultimately propose that opportunity to the key stakeholders. This is a varied role which encompasses a number of core attributes from business analysis, project management as well as account management and delivery.
What You'll Get In Return:
In return, you will join a closely-knit team with a bright future. You will work in a highly-collaborative culture where your efforts and work will directly reflect our brand and will shape our business in so many ways.
