Endoscopy Decontamination Manager

We require a motivated enthusiastic and committed individual to take on the challenging and demanding role of Endoscopy Decontamination Manager.

You will assume day to day management and operational responsibility for the Endoscopy Decontamination Unit. You will manage staff to allow process and delivery of flexible scopes throughout and acute hospital site encompassing all relevant guidance and legislation.

You will ensure compliance within the Department throughout management of an electronic tracking system and maintenance and testing of decontamination equipment to relevant standards.

Lead and motivate the operational team and ensure staff are appropriately trained to agreed competency levels. To manage and measure performance generating data for analysis and benchmarking.

You will have substantial experience in decontamination including production and quality controls and knowledge on operation of decontamination equipment and an electronic tracking system. You should have a flexible approach to the role and be able to demonstrate effective people management skills together with an ability to motivate and engender team spirit.
You should have knowledge and understanding of decontamination legislation and requirements including HFS guidance for Endoscopy Decontamination Units.

Car/owner driver is desirable.

Hours: 37.5 per week.
