Desktop/ EUC Architect - Canary Wharf - £75,000

Desktop Architect - Canary Wharf. A well-established global managed services provider are looking to add an articulate End User Computing Architect to its growing team, handling all aspects of the EUC lifecycle for Small/Medium (SME) enterprises from initial concept to the implementation and roll out of new technology platforms across this business' ever growing client base. This role will be based in Canary Wharf but requires the successful candidate to travel to numerous client sites around the UK, wherever necessary.

This is a hands on role where you will be the technical lead on many large scale projects for clients requiring end user technology upgrades. You will be expected to liaise with clients to understand their requirements and to provide high level cost estimations before designing and deploying their new applications.

In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility it is ESSENTIAL that you have experience working in a similar capacity, hands on designing AND implementing projects for end user computing, specifically for Windows 10, Windows 7 and Office 365 - essentially the entire Microsoft stack. It is also expected that you will have a solid understanding of Active Directory as well as a background in working with Prince2 and PMI methodologies. Further to this, you will need to be flexible and have the ability to travel around the UK to implement solutions for your clients - although you will be based from Canary Wharf, travel will be a crucial and frequent element of this appointment.
