Employment Training Advisor £19,000 - £23,500 depending on expereince
Working in the community development team you will work with other Employment Advisors to deliver training and employment advice to individuals in the community and tenants of this well-established company in Maidstone
Provide, and offer guidance on an individual one to one basis and through group facilitation on a range of subjects relating to employment such as CV writing, completion of job applications, confidence building, interview techniques and assist residents in overcoming barriers, and help with money management.
Working closely with neighbourhood teams to support new and existing tenants. Set up and deliver advice at various community sites, and visiting them in their homes
Maintain client files and records and monitor and collect statistics so a good knowledge of MS Office is required.
This role will suit someone who has either a background in recruitment who does not want the heavy targets and sales pressures or a Trainer or employment Advisor who is looking to support and develop individuals who are trying to return to employment and or education and guide them through to better develop themselves
You will have a flexible attitude towards hours, as travel will be expected in and around Medway and Maidstone to various centres and areas, and be able to attend other events outside of working hours although your base will be in Maidstone.
You will have excellent communication skills, along with a confident and approachable manner.
You will be paid mileage for the travel so access to a car is required, along with excellent benefits to include, 28 days holiday, parking on site, great pension and working conditions.
