Unusual employment role to lead a team and run your own employment law caseload, of mainly respondent matters.
This top tier firm are expanding their Plymouth based employment team and seek a qualified solicitor or legal executive to join them.
Unusually your time here will be split between managing a small team of high performing paralegals and unqualified fee earners, as well as managing your own small yet complex and diverse caseload. You will provide technical assistance on the teams caseload, and work alongside senior managers, to oversee the development and training of this already high performing team.
Both yours and your teams caseload will include both contentious and non contentious employment work, including tribunals.
You will be an astute, commercially aware lawyer with one eye on the bottom line, and the other on consistently providing an unrivalled service to clients.
Solicitors and legal executives with at least 1-2 years employment law experience are encouraged to apply. You will also have some managerial experience, having previously managed more junior fee earners.
