Our client is a well-established law firm with offices in Leeds, Sheffield and York.
They seek an experienced Employment Solicitor to join our award-winning Employment Team.
The successful candidate must have excellent technical ability and experience of dealing with a broad range of work. We anticipate you will have circa 2 - 3 years PQE (or similar experience).
The role is within the Employment Team which was awarded UK Regional HR/Employment Team of the Year 2017 by the Legal 500. The successful candidate will be providing a high quality legal service to a wide range of corporate and individual clients.
Required skills & Experience: -
- The ability to generate your own caseload through existing contacts.
- Good marketing focus and commercially aware with a proven background of successful involvement in business development strategies to enable you to contribute to the growth of the Firm’s portfolio.
- Credible and professional enough to contribute to the growth of an already established department.
- Pro-active, driven, professional and flexible, as well as being friendly, and a good team player.
Possessing strong client development and networking skills, applicants should be confident, self-motivated individuals with excellent IT skills, who can convince us they will enjoy being part of an integrated team but who will also thrive in working in an autonomous working environment.
Ideally, you will have experience of both litigation and corporate support.
The successful candidate will be tasked with developing a full and varied caseload to cover the full range of contentious and non-contentious Employment matters to both corporate and individual clients, whilst being excited at having the opportunity to join a very strong and close-knit team.
The department is relaxed, supportive and informal, but extremely professional. We put clients’ needs first, so you will need to have the ability to priorities your workload, and be able to work to deadlines. They are focused on providing the highest of quality and customer service, and providing commercial advice.
