Brand new opportunity for a firm in Cardiff who are seeking to hire a talented Solicitor/ Associate to join their Chambers ranked Employment department.
This is a key role in the team and as such has excellent fast track to partnership prospects.
This role has a good workflow of both advisory and contentious matters; clients range from start-ups to SME’s to multi nationals advising on their HR matters, contracts of employment, policies & handbooks. To advised clients and employees on employment disputes, dismissals, compromise agreements and advocacy at Employment tribunals up to High Court.
The ideal candidate will be an Employment Solicitor with 5 years + PQE, commercially minded, have the technical and communication skills required to provide the highest level of client service and be able to work as part of a team. You will be able to confidently advise on contentious and non-contentious employment matters to predominately corporate but also private clients.
Candidates with expertise in advising on TUPE matters and post termination restrictions, including advising clients in High Court injunction application proceedings and restrictive covenant work, would be at an advantage.
The Employment department have an active presence in Wales through presenting seminars, writing articles and delivering training sessions.
