Ranked in the top 100 law firms and with offices based nationally, it has a large scope and delivers an outstanding service to clients both domestically and internationally. The firm requires a paralegal with Employment experience to join its successful London office.
Your new role
You will assist with files managed by qualified lawyers and undertake routine legal tasks under supervision. This will include preparing trial bundles, collating documents and liaising with legal expenses insurers. You will draft basic legal documents using appropriate precedents and templates, and undertake legal research, presenting your findings accurately. You will be the first to deal with client enquiries, taking initial attendance notes and setting up files. You will ensure that work is compliant with risk management policies and procedures, including storing and retrieving information. You will act as a legal resource for the wider team when additional demands arise. You will support business development and marketing activities, including writing articles and blogs. You will attend events hosted by the firm to build up your network and develop client relationships. You will also promote the firm through various social media channels.
What you'll need to succeed
You have secured a minimum 2.1 in your LLB, and completed your LPC. It is essential that you have previous paralegal experience, ideally in employment law, however corporate and commercial experience will be considered as well. You are client focused and have a professional telephone manner. You are an effective communicator, can thrive in a busy working environment, are a team player, and can function under pressure.
