Established in 2004 following the transfer of homes from a local Borough Council, they have invested more than £100m in regenerating their homes and estates for their 20,000 residents. They are committed to developing new high quality affordable homes for rent and shared ownership. They employ over 140 talented members of staff who are committed to ensuring they deliver their promises.
Your new role
You will provide support for individuals to achieve and sustain employment with appropriate and timely assistance. In partnership with other agencies to provide a comprehensive outreach employability support service, which includes advice and guidance on education, training and employment, to the tenants and other adults living in areas with properties managed by the housing association.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed you will have experience advising and supporting unemployed clients into employment or training. You will be confident developing and maintaining effective relationships with other partner's agencies and organisations to enable residents to achieve and sustain employment. Experience working in neighbourhoods and with community groups to improve resident's confidence and skills in money management is essential.
What you'll get in return
In return you will be offered a permanent role paying £19,000 per annum + benefits. Working hours Monday - Friday.
