Whether you have recruitment experience or not, if you are a graduate with a 2.1 degree and a drive to succeed then come join the UK’s best-known recruitment brand and launch your career today!

Not only would you be joining an exciting, high-performing team working on our Welfare-to-Work contracts, you will also be inducted in to the wider REED group of companies as part of our three-year Graduate Training Scheme, which gives you opportunities to explore other business functions and management routes as you enter your second and third years with the company.

REED’s Commitment to Society

In addition to providing invaluable services to jobseekers and clients and helping the social mobility of the UK workforce, REED also redirects 18% of its profits in to the Reed Foundation which has been allocating charitable funds for almost 30 years. These funds have helped develop Reed’s own charities such as Ethiopiaid and WomanKind. REED also set up The Big Give which helps raise millions of pounds each year for charitable causes through its match-funding technology.

Your Year as an Employment Advisor:

We want our graduates to hit the ground running which is why we provide the best training in the industry and give you access to a range of excellent benefits from day one.

  • £23,000 basic salary (up to £27,000 in London)
  • £1,000 joining bonus

As an Employment Advisor within Reed in Partnership you could be working with any range of jobseekers who have (in most cases) been referred to REED by local authorities to help get them back in to employment. These could include individuals such as ex-convicts, family unit referrals and job centre referrals, for example. You will be assigned a case-load of jobseekers and targeted on placing them in to jobs with local businesses.

In order to achieve your targets you will need to be self-motivated, target-driven and resilient, as well as possess exceptional interpersonal and mediation skills. The role can be very demanding and emotionally challenging at times so only apply if you are up for the challenge! Those who do secure roles with us though find the role highly rewarding.

Beyond Year One: The Benefits

By now you will have developed invaluable skills that can be transferred in to a whole range of career avenues.

Loving the job? Stay on and work your way up to management through our Career Development Framework which rewards those who deliver on targets. You’ll also be given management training to help you make the transition in to senior roles.

Want to expand your horizons? As a member of the Graduate Training Scheme you will have the option to move to another department or even another REED company. Typical roles available on rotation include positions in areas such as: Marketing, Finance, IT, HR, and range of Project roles to meet the strategic business growth needs. Or move to an operational role such as a Sales Executive at reed.co.uk or Recruitment Consultant within Reed Specialist Recruitment where you can earn commission on top of your existing salary and benefits.

  • Annual appraisal to increase to your basic salary
  • Professional qualification sponsorship from year 2 (e.g. CIPD, CIM, Prince2, Harvard HBXCore)
