We are looking for a Business Development Consultant (Employer Engagement) to work for an award winning training provider, to identify and engage with employers to promote apprenticeships and other training courses, incorporating both Government and privately/commercially funded courses. You will generate quality new start volumes on to appropriate apprenticeship programmes in line with regional capacity whilst ensuring all eligibility criteria is met.
To generate new business and maximise repeat business to support the company achievement of its funding profiles. Ensure organisational objectives and KPI’s are achieved. You will play a key role in growth plans. This is a proactive role where your focus will identify new business and drive sales, including commercial by building relationships and networks across the UK.
Candidates must have the following skills, experience and qualifications as a minimum to be considered:
-Experience in a sales or recruitment environment
-Strong track record of working to and achieving sales targets
-Sound commercial knowledge
-Excellent communication skills
-Planning and organisational skills
-Strong time management skills
-Experience of working as part of a team
-Good understanding of recruitment
-Willingness to travel as required
-Driving license and access to car
