Employee Relations Manager

This role will be responsible for providing all expert advice and management of Employee Relations, Policy Development, Management Information and Supporting on all HR on- going projects

Employee Relations Manager duties:

  • Leading a team of HR Advisors and being the key contact in regards to any advice and escalations in regards to Employee Relations
  • Update and maintain HR policies and processes, ensuring these are communicated effectively across the business
  • Providing ample advice and guidance on employment matters and HR policies, practices and processes to the HR team to reduce any legal risk
  • Managing the business relationship between Trade Unions consultations and project manage any support to TU negotiations
  • Identify macro Employee Relations issues that need to be fixed to support business and objectives and provide recommendations to address
  • Design and deliver the company approach to well being
  • Lead, guide and influence HR advisors to engage managers effectively

Employee Relations Manager skills:

  • Proven leader with experience in managing teams
  • Excellent working knowledge of Employment law
  • Experience working with Trade Unions
  • Strong willed with the capacity to overcome challenges
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to speak to stakeholders at all levels
