Employee Relations Manager required to join a leading global retailer. The ER Manager will be responsible for promoting employee well being as well as acting as the main point of contact to the wider HR team and business managers across the UK on all matters of ER.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for ER, delivering consistent and fair policy across the business, whilst minimising risk in a commercial and business facing role.
A proactive coaching style whilst further defining policy to prevent, rather than cure recurring issues and to act as escalation on complex cases. The ER manager will be capable of managing a varied and high pressured work load.
Manage and grow a small ER team.
Accountability for the ER case-load nationwide.
Act as a point of escalation where appropriate.
Partner with HR team to analyse key people data and drive forward strategic change to combat recurring issues.
Up to date UK employment law knowledge, aware of new legislative changes and the impact on workforce.
Credible and personable stakeholder engagement ability, quickly able to build relationships at all levels and affect significant change.
