We are currently recruiting for an Experienced Employee Benefits Consultant / Account Executive to service an existing portfolio of business, with a view of growing the desk. The role will be working for a leading national brokerage, based from the Manchester office.

Job Purpose / Responsibilities

To support the development of client relationships and manage benefit reviews/broker placements.
Ensure all services are coordinated to a high standard
Support the rebroking of risk benefits (where appropriate to role) in a timely manner in accordance with agreed procedures and liaise with clients and insurance companies when required.
Contribute ideas and opinions to continually improve the team's capabilities and increase client servicing standards.
Generate new and maintain existing professional connections.
Convert referrals and generate new business in line with targets.
Follow established procedure for seeking prospects.
Benefit lines include; Pensions, PMI, life assurance, group risk, critical illness travel, dental, occupational health and cash plans, flex benefits.
Ensure compliance requirements are fully met and support the technical benefits lead in continually enhancing our internal policies and controls.


5+ years experience in UK benefit broking/consulting environment
Principal focus on group risk insurances
Exceptional client relationship skills
Ability to manage time effectively focusing on priorities, targets and deadlines.
Good critical thinker and able to distil complex issues down into clear, actionable recommendations.
