As an Account Manager you will be responsible for servicing the needs for an allocated portfolio of clients, delivering an exemplary service and contributing towards expanded client relationships.
The Employee Benefits division has enjoyed sustained success since inception and this hire is part of the ongoing development of a specialist hub in Manchester. Whether your experience is in Healthcare or Group Risk, you will receive training to enable you to ultimately manage the full suite of products and you will work alongside colleagues with detailed knowledge in these fields who will assist when required as a sounding board to this individual.
You will be responsible for understanding clients benefit requirements and provide advice on insurers services, coverage and pricing. Whilst providing the day to day servicing of a client’s insurance programme to support retention and development of the business.
You will support consulting projects and development of new lines of business, ensure renewal timelines are met and market reviews undertaken and placed in advance of renewal and identify the risk exposures and advise on insurance and risk management solutions in consultation with the Account Executive/Vice President.
Additionally you will ensure compliance requirements are fully met, ensure that clients understand the businesses cash collection terms and monitor and resolve debtor queries in a timely manner to ensure prompt payment of premiums and fees, whilst supporting expansion of services and identify and progress new business leads.
The right candidate will have an understanding of Group Risk and /or Private Medical Insurance, have the ability to identify opportunities for business development and understand risk management concepts and when these are useful to clients. An understanding of cash collection processes, the general, Legal principles of insurance and an understanding of insurer rating methods for each class of insurance is a pre-requisite.
The ability to broke and service the insurance needs of clients, how to prepare a broking presentation that accurately reflects the cover required and meets the clients' demands and needs and the ability to prepare and interpret claims experiences and analysis including claims triangulations and the impact of deductibles and cover variations would be an advantage.
