Emergency Response Call Handler

Working for an emergency response service who are a market leaders in technology enabled care.

We are looking for call handlers who will be taking inbound calls from the elderly and vulnerable who require emergency assistance.

Ideally candidates will have experience within a call centre environment and feel confident working in a fast paced environment.

Experience working in the care industry will also be an advantage as successful candidates will require strong communications skills and have a calm, sympathetic and decisive approach to their work.

Hours: 10:30am - 7pm - 5 over 7
Temporary to Permanent contract
£8.45 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

* Acting as the first point of contact to all incoming calls
* Answer and respond to incoming calls
* Provide a high level of service to local and police authorities, service users and housing associations
* Updating the system with accurate call notes

You must have demonstrable experience of using IT systems and software to a competent level as you will be required to input vital information onto the in house system during calls.
