About the Role

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Marketing Managing Director with responsibility for FTI's EMEA region. You will support the full range of FTI's five business segments throughout the region, with nearly 2,000 people across 11 countries.

FTI Consulting in EMEA is undergoing an intense period of growth, quickly expanding both its London presence, at the same time as its continental Europe, Middle East and Africa operations.

The successful candidate will be a key member of FTI EMEA's operational leadership and a critical part of continuing the growth journey and ensuring FTI's external marketing and brand presence and internal marketing support is developed to match the success of its business growth.

You will work closely with several internal stakeholders, including the Global Marketing team, EMEA Regional Leadership and EMEA Segment Leadership. To be successful, you will create close partnerships with these key partners to execute on their requirements in a coordinated way that drives overall value and supports the brand and FTI's market positioning in the different markets within which it operates.

You will be a senior marketing adviser to the region and segments and will drive ideas to elevate and coordinate marketing activity for the segments and combined firm within the EMEA region.

The Marketing Managing Director will report jointly to Global Marketing and EMEA leadership.

What You'll Do

Business Development: Assist segment leaders with initiatives and activities to increase revenues, growth and business expansion. This may involve designing and implementing a way to work across and with segments and their marketing managers by building strategic partnerships and supporting strategic business decisions.

Brand and Client Service Innovation: Agree and execute an approach to compliance across brand, content and communications, working closely with US and EMEA teams to navigate the right outcome for the business. You will have responsibility for brand protection in the EMEA region.

You will work with EMEA Strategic Leadership to coordinate and support the development and execution of go-to-market initiatives and programmes. This will include leveraging the wider Marketing teams to execute, requiring negotiation and allocation of resources to prioritise business initiatives and navigate multiple priorities.

Marketing: EMEA marketing plans, marketing campaigns, digital and social media and events programmes. You will upgrade the content and collateral approach for EMEA region and countries and will design and develop appropriate engagement and collaboration tools to align and coordinate our marketing efforts.

Operations: Work closely to EMEA COO to improve processes and technology that enable Marketing to operate efficiently and to the required scale. with quality and consistency.Internal & External Communications: You will support FTI culture and best practice communications, internally and externally, by working closely with the EMEA leadership team and other key stakeholders.

Team Management: Responsible for leading a large, diverse regional team and managing a budget to ensure the team delivers impact and value, as well as contributing to the global strategies.

The EMEA Marketing Managing Director will have the opportunity to partner with our senior leaders in EMEA on a wide variety of initiatives related to business growth, strategic marketing decisions and performance improvement projects.

Basic Qualifications and Skills
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or postgraduate marketing qualificati on.
  • Significant experience in working in a highly matrixed environment or large international organisation.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of professional services industry or consulting firms is desirable.
  • Ability to build partnerships across segments and regions and strong capacity to work in collaborative environments.
  • Team Builder: Looks at goal setting as a team effort, focusing on a team "win". Innately supportive, with a strong ability to form close bonds with the team as an inspirational and sympathetic mentor.
  • Capability to adapt and understand the diversity and specialties of our regional businesses.

  • Has a high tolerance for ambiguity; deals well with unexpected or adverse situations and works well under pressure
