We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Manager to enhance our EMEA delivery capability; managing change activity and projects. You will have technical accountability for the IT Infrastructure architecture for the UK and European region, managing projects of small to medium scale.
At Lucite International we are a people focussed organisation. We’re therefore looking for someone with the right skills and experience to fill to help us deliver an outstanding IT function for EMEA; someone who enjoys building relationships, liaising with suppliers and making improvements, recommendations, and resolving problems.
The Infrastructure Manager position is a hands-on role, therefore good technical knowledge of networks, routers, LAN, Domain services (e.g. DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policies) is required. An awareness of IT Security principles is required as you’ll be responsible for EMEA IT Security audits, risk assessments and actively resolving IT Security incidents.
Project Management expertise is essential as you will have responsibility for managing change projects which will include working closely with external providers and non-IT teams. You’ll need to be skilled in defining project scope, financial expenditure, resource requirements and influencing stakeholders. Evaluating proposed options and project managing the most cost-effective path forward in delivering requirements will be critical to success.
This position reports to the Global IT Infrastructure Manager, and will work closely with the EMEA IT Service Manager to continuously improve the reliability and effective operation of the EMEA IT infrastructure. Whilst the role is based in and primarily serves Europe, there will be significant contact and influence with IT staff in other parts of the world, therefore any international experience would be advantageous.
Any previous experience in a manufacturing / engineering / supply chain environment is desirable. As you will be working directly with individuals and groups across the UK and Europe, some travel will be required.
*Please note for this position, we can be flexible to a base location of Darwen (North West) or Billingham (Cleveland).
