EMEA HR Business Partner - Global Technology Company

Our client is a global technology company with 6000 employees across 150 countries. They are looking for an HRBP to support an employee group of 180 people with the majority in the UK and pockets in France, Germany and South Africa.

If you enjoy the transactional work within HR and are also able to combine that with being a credible business partner to senior leadership, then this could be the role for you.

This role won’t suit you if you are looking for a predominantly strategic role and you don’t want to get involved in the day to day transactional work. There are letters to write, processes to complete and people to chase and you will need to deliver these things.

However, right alongside this transactional piece there is a great business partnering role. The General Manager for the region is new in role and will look to you as their right-hand person to help deliver their vision for the region.

You will be implementing the broad generalist HR strategy and playing a role in the full HR cycle. You will also be involved in M&A activities as these come up.

You will likely be a graduate and CIPD qualified. You will have extensive HR experience in the UK and if you also have HR experience in other European countries - great, but it is not essential.

What you will need to evidence is that you are very commercially aware and capable of acting as a credible business partner to senior executives.

You will need to be an excellent communicator who has built strong relationships with all levels of a business that are based on trust, professionalism and personal integrity.

Having worked within a technology company is mandatory. If you have worked in heavily matrixed environments, so much the better.

There is some travel with this role so that you can visit your employee base in France and Germany. This is likely to look like a day or 2 every couple of months.
