EMEA Field Device Regional Sales Director

SchneiderElectric’s Industry business brings together the industrial automationindustry's best-known brands (Avantis, Foxboro, SimSci-Esscor, Eurotherm,Wonderware and Triconex) to deliver integrated solutions that automate andoptimize plant operations. Schneider Electric is a major global supplier ofsystems, software, solutions and instrumentation for process automation andasset performance management. Primary customer industries include Refining andPetrochemicals, Upstream Oil and Gas, Pharmaceuticals and Fine Chemicals, andPower and Utilities.
We are currently seeking an EMEA Regional SalesDirector, with responsibility for maintaining and growing business sales withinEMEA Region. The individual in this role will provide growth of the FieldDevice Line of Business (LOB) across the full Foxboro by Schneider Electric productportfolio sales volume through a variety of channels, account activities,customer support and the utilization of technical expertise.
Baselocation can be flexible, but we would prefer close to major internationalairport and/or close to the following cities; Paris, London, Amsterdam, Neuss (Germany)or Milan which are primary offices for Process Automation within SchneiderElectric. There will be frequent need for travel within this role.
Responsible for the achievement of SchneiderElectric Field Device revenue and growth objectives for the EMEA Region withhigh sustainable sales volume. Develops and maintains profitable customerrelationships to assure total customer satisfaction within the Region. Devotes the major portion of time to the overall supervision and administrationof the indirect channels, direct support staff and overall sales strategypromoting the Field Device business in the EMEA Region.
Develops sales plans, objectives, and performancemetrics for business partners. Provides timely and accurate forecasts tothe business. Works closely with distribution channels, OEM partners,systems integrators as well as other Process Automation and Schneider Electricsales managers and technical support staff to achieve the best sales offeringsand support services for the customer.
Leads a multi-functional team of District SalesManagers, Product Sales Engineers, Sales Operations and coordinates integrallywith Regional Counterparts, Business Development teams and Manufacturing toprofitably grow the business in the assigned region. Selects accounts andmanages the success of the assigned team through a focus on customersatisfaction. Coordinates targeted growth in new customers serveddirectly or through the Channel.
This position will report directly to the ProcessAutomation EMEA Regional Sales VP with a dotted line to the Global SalesDirector for the Line of Business.
- Undergraduatedegree, preferably in Business, Engineering or equivalent
- Extensiveexperience of complex solution selling sales experience to the Foxboro FieldDevices applicable markets.
- Strong technical knowledge: Process and Control Instrumentation including flow, pressure, level, temperature and analytical and the Valves Market.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills in English, preferable multi-lingual.
- Knowledge of industrial process applications.
- Track record of meeting/exceeding yearly quota and high growth of assigned products.
