One of our long standing manufacturing clients based in Bristol is looking to take on board an Embedded Software Engineer with a proven track record of delivery.

As part of the company's continuing expansion, they are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced embedded Software Engineer to join the research and development team.
Within this role you will be predominately spending your time creating new and maintaining existing products written in embedded C on PIC microcontrollers and some ARM based embedded Linux systems. In some instances you may be required to do some PC / Application based programming and this would be in either C++ or C#. They also work with a number of communication protocols such as DMX, RDM, I2C and SPI.
It will be an exciting and fast paced environment, involved in multiple projects and working to tight deadlines.
• At least 1 years' experience
• Embedded C
• C++ / C#
• Communication protocols such as RS485, SPI, I2C, UART etc
• Experience on PIC microcontrollers
• Experience with embedded Linux using ARM platform
• Familiar with GIT or other VCS
• Experience using JIRA of other issue tracking system
